Who is responsible
JobSalary.co.uk is run by JobSalary.co.uk, the data controller for this site. Contact: contact@jobsalary.co.uk.
What we collect ourselves
Nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts or forms. The salary search and the take-home pay calculator run in your browser; what you type is not sent to us. The calculator puts your inputs in the page address so you can share or bookmark a result; nothing is stored on our side.
Your light/dark choice is kept in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
We use Cloudflare to host the site. Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying visitors.
Advertising
This site shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and, if you agree, personalise them based on your visits to this and other sites.
- If you are in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, you are asked for consent through Google's consent message before cookies are used for personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time with the "Ad and cookie choices" link at the bottom of every page.
- Without consent, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which use cookies only for things like frequency capping and fraud prevention.
- How Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's ad settings.
The legal basis is your consent for cookies used for personalised advertising, and our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site for hosting and security data.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of personal data, and object to its use. Since we don't hold personal data ourselves, requests about ad data are best made to Google, but you can always contact us. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
